RCA2023 Graduation Show
Exhibition | Truman Brewery, London July 13-16, 2023 | RCA ADS 12
The RCA2023 Show is open to the public showcasing our final-year graduate work.
I was also selected as ADS12 studio representative to present my thesis project at the cross-crits review, where I received valuable feedback from guest critics of other disciplines.
A collaboration between members of the studio, we curated this exhibition from initial concepts to final execution. The concept of the space is based on a "limit experience exploring the ambiguity between what's natural and artifical." As a curator and exhibitor, my role involves brain-storming ideas, outsourcing material, wall curation, film editing; as well as construction and de-installation of the exhibition space.
Limits Ritual Dinner
Pop-up Dinner Event | St.John's Church, London | March 30, 2023
A multi-sensory dining experience for 15 guests:
"As we gathered in the bell tower of St. John's on Bethnal Green, London, we were enveloped by the polyphonic registers of echoing sounds. Amidst the soundscape, we flew tea flights with opening flowers and broke bread together, smashed with timber utensils specially crafted for the communal breaking of encrusted vegetables. Parallel consumptions of combinations of caramelised webs on flatbreads were offered. Each of us wore lights. This assembly was developed anonymously between groups of guests responsible for its expression and materialisation."
Led by Francesca Beltrame, Jamie Kuehn & Harry Postins.
In collaboration with: Cheryl Wong/Jessica Benisty/Angel Lee/Ni Zhan [Ingestion of the Ritual], Tom Hunter [Sound], George Thornton [Wardens of the Ceremony - Scent], Sabrina Li/Christine Wong [Purification - Beverages], Charlie Bennett [Ritual Tools], Gozde Uyar/Chloe Tam [Illumination]

Cardboard Cathedral, Shigeru Ban Architects
"Catastrophe and the Power of Art"
Exhibition Facilitator | Mori Art Museum, Tokyo | 6 Oct, 2018 - 20 Jan, 2019
"This extends to the work of Japanese-born architect Shigeru Ban, who is best known for constructing emergency shelters made from cardboard. Scale Model of Transitional Cathedral, Christchurch, New Zealand (2011) offers a refreshing example of how radical experiment in contemporary art, architecture and design can yield practical results." - Art Review
